MindHeart PEAK AI & the EduPal Portal & Robot were developed after MindHeart Lab Founder's son Ed was diagnosed with Schizophrenia.
At age 18, Ed ran away from home and ended up homeless in the Skid Rowe homeless community.
With Ed as a Co-founder working with his dad and his mom (Ed's mom heads data and analytics for 10 hospitals) to develop EduPal Robots in the garage.
The parents dedicated the PEAK Scan to their other son JD who died at 12 months of what we now know is a brain and heart related disease called SIDS (Sudden Death Syndrome), the parents believed that PEAK Scan would be able some day help also detect SIDS and other disorders to reduce the tragedies for other kids and their parents. They believed that every kid should be able to reach their PEAK in life! Our mission is to continue to donate robots & PEAK Scans / Virtual Mirror Visutalizers to underserved kids, clinics & hospitals.
